Myron Rice Wood letters, 1862-1868.

Letters written by Myron Rice Wood of the 36th Massachusetts Regiment, Company E, to his family, 1862-64, describing camp life, his health, and the battle of Antietam, Sept. 1862, among other topics; and by various Army officials to the Wood family following Myron's capture in Tennessee, and imprisonment at Belle Island, Richmond, Va., 1864-68. Includes the last letter sent by Myron to his father, Rice Wood, from Belle Island, 12 Feb. 1864.
